Lined Tegula [Tegula fasciata]

Description
The Lined Tegula is a species of sea snail. It has a small, conical shell with distinct dark and light spiral bands, which can reach a size of up to 20 mm. The species is found in the Eastern Pacific, from California to Baja California. It inhabits intertidal rocky shores and feeds on algae and detritus.
