Longspine sculpin [Jordania zonope]

Description
The Longspine sculpin is a species of fish in the family Cottidae. It is found in the northeastern Pacific Ocean from the Bering Sea to California. It typically inhabits the intertidal zone of rocky shores, where it hides in crevices during the day and comes out to feed at night. It can be identified by its long, slender body and the presence of long spines on the gill covers.
