McGinty's Ghostshrimp, scientifically known as Imogine mcgintyi, is a species of marine crustacean in the family Callianassidae. It is found in the Eastern Pacific region, particularly in the Gulf of California. This species is famously nocturnal, burrowing into the sandy or muddy seafloor during the day and emerging at night to feed. Its body is typically pale or transparent (hence the name 'ghostshrimp'), with males reaching larger sizes than females.
