Minute Fluke [Metagonimus minutus]

Description
Metagonimus minutus, also known as the Minute Fluke, is a parasitic trematode found in the Far East. It is the smallest species in the genus Metagonimus, measuring 0.725 to 1.225 mm by 0.275 to 0.5125 mm. It infects the intestines of fish-eating birds and mammals. The intermediate hosts are snails and fishes.
