Mullet Trematode [Apophallus muehlingi]

Description
Apophallus muehlingi, commonly referred to as the Mullet Trematode, is another species of trematodes. It is a parasite found in the intestines of mullets and other similar fish species. This species is smaller in size with a body length of 1-2 mm. It is characterized by a small cirrus sac and a large ventral sucker. The eggs are dark brown in color.
