Music Volute [Voluta musica]
Description
The music volute is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Volutidae. This species can be found in the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico and along the Lesser Antilles, living in sandy or muddy bottoms between 5 and 50 meters deep. It is characterized by the beautiful pattern on its shell, which resembles musical notes.
