Description
The Pacific Horse Conch, also known as the Giant Horse Conch, is a species of large sea snail. It is distributed in the Pacific Ocean along the coasts of Central and South America. It can reach up to 60 cm in shell length, making it one of the world's largest gastropods. The shell is typically greyish brown, with the inner lip and aperture being orange. It inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms in shallow to moderately deep waters.
