Peggy's volute [Notovoluta peggyae]
Description
Peggy's volute is a sea snail species found in the waters of Western Australia. The shell is characterized by its large size (up to 120 mm) and its bold, dark brown axial flames over a cream or light brown background. It typically resides in subtidal environments, particularly in sandy areas.
