Pike Trematode [Apophallus brevis]

Description
Apophallus brevis, commonly known as Pike Trematode, is a species of trematodes (flukes). It is a parasite that primarily infects the intestines of fishes, especially pike. The adult flukes are elongated and slightly curved with a body length of 4-5 mm. They are known for their short cirrus sac and large ventral sucker. The eggs are light yellowish in color.
