Pink Lamp Shell [Terebratulina retusa]

Description
This species measures around 4 centimeters in length and has a shell that is pinkish in color. It has a curved, oval-shaped shell with a long beak. It is found in the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The Pink Lamp Shell burrows in soft sediments at depths of 10-200 meters. It feeds by filtering plankton and organic particles from the water.
