Plate Limpet [Lottia pelta]
Description
Lottia pelta, commonly known as the Plate Limpet, is another species of marine gastropod mollusk in the Lottiidae family. It is found from Alaska to Baja California, inhabiting rocky intertidal zones. Its shell is a smooth, flat oval with a small apex located toward the front.
