Robust volute [Notovoluta robusta]
Description
Also known as the robust volute, this species of sea snail has a stout, strong shell with a rich chestnut color. The shell size can reach up to 85 mm. Typically found in subtidal waters off Western Australia, it prefers sandy environments.
