Description
The Southern Wedge Shark is a cestode parasite found in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Its known hosts are the Brier shark, Deania calcea, and other sharks of the family Centrophoridae. This species is characterized by its small size, its elongated, wedge-shaped proglottids, and its scolex, which bears hooklets.
