Vema's Seamount Crab [Platypodiella vema]

Description
A species of crab which is found on the Vema Seamount in the Atlantic Ocean. It is a small, reddish brown crab, with a carapace width of up to 30 mm. The crab is distinguished by the presence of large, flat, paddle-shaped rear legs. It is a benthic species, living on rocky substrates in deep water.
