Giant Stingrays [Urogymnus]

Description

Urogymnus is a genus of stingrays known for including some of the largest species of stingrays in the world. These stingrays inhabit a range of marine and freshwater environments, primarily in the Indo-Pacific region. Giant stingrays are characterized by their broad, flat bodies and long, whip-like tails equipped with one or more venomous spines. Despite their intimidating size, they are generally docile and feed on bottom-dwelling invertebrates and fish.
