Smalleye Stingray [Megatrygon microps]

Description
Smalleye Stingray is a rare species of stingray in the family Dasyatidae, the only member of its genus. Its disc is notably thick and heavy, with broadly rounded pectoral fins. It has the smallest eyes relative to disc width of any stingray species. It is found in the tropical waters of the western Indian Ocean, primarily off Mozambique. The biology of the Smalleye Stingray is virtually unknown.
