Description
Baird's Beaked Whale, also known as the Northern Four-Toothed Whale or the Northern Giant Bottlenose Whale, is the largest species of beaked whale with lengths reaching up to 13 meters. They are found in the North Pacific Ocean, from Japan to California. They have a distinctive long, cigar-shaped body and a bulbous forehead. These whales are known for their deep diving ability and feed primarily on deep-sea fish and squid.
