Japanese Sleeper Ray [Narke japonica]

Description
The Japanese Sleeper Ray, or Narke japonica, is a species of electric ray in the family Narkidae. It is endemic to the northwest Pacific Ocean off China, Japan, and Korea. This species inhabits shallow inshore waters and is known to bury itself in the sandy or muddy sea floor. It is distinguishable by its nearly circular pectoral fin disk, short and thick tail, and the presence of two dorsal fins. It generates an electric shock to stun prey and for self-defence.
