Large-flowered Waterweed [Hydrilla verticillata]

Description
Large-flowered Waterweed is a submerged aquatic plant native to the cool and warm waters of the Old World in Asia, Africa and Australia. It has slender stems up to 2-3 m long. Leaves are strap-like, 5–20 mm long and 1–4 mm broad, with serrated edges. The plant has a high resistance to salinity compared to many other freshwater associated aquatic plants.
