Plectanocotyle Goby Skin Fluke [Plectanocotyle gobiensis]

Description
Plectanocotyle gobiensis is a species of monogenean, parasitic flatworms mainly found on the skin of the sand goby (Pomatoschistus minutus). As a species, it is quite small and transparent. It exhibits an elongated body with two holdfasts, the anterior one being a large muscular organ and the posterior one being a haptor with two pairs of clamps.
