Description
The Spectacled Porpoise is a rarely seen marine species, primarily inhabiting the cool temperate waters of the Southern Hemisphere. They are easily distinguished by the unique coloration around their eyes and throat, which gives the appearance of spectacles. Males are known to grow up to 2.2 meters and females 2.5 meters in length. They are known for their shy and elusive behavior, making them difficult to observe in the wild. Spectacled Porpoises are believed to be solitary, with occasional group associations. Their diet primarily consists of squid and fish.
