Velvet Sea Pen [Ptilosarcus undulatus]

Description
The Velvet Sea Pen, also known as the Dead Man's Finger, is a species of sea pen found in the Northeast Pacific. They possess a central, unbranched stem with side branches bearing polyps. They are typically found in muddy or sandy substrates and can be found at depths of up to 100 meters. Their color varies from yellow to dark red.
