Description
Sepietta is a genus comprising small cephalopods belonging to the family Sepiolidae, known as bobtail squids. These species are characterized by a more elongated body compared to other members of their family, with a distinctively short mantle and small fins. Sepietta species are usually found in deeper waters compared to their cousins and are distributed across the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, and parts of the Indian Ocean.
