Description

Gadilina is a genus within the Gadilidae family, closely related to the genus Gadila. These scaphopods have compact, cylindrical shells that are less elongated compared to those of Gadila, with a smooth or only slightly textured surface. Gadilina species are found in various marine settings, where they live infaunally within the sediment, feeding on microscopic detritus and organisms.
