Malo [Malo]

Description
Malo is a genus of box jellyfish within the family Alatinidae, noted for containing some of the most venomous jellyfish species known. Malo jellyfish are characterized by their relatively small size, transparent cube-shaped bell, and four tentacles that can extend several feet in length. These jellyfish are of significant interest and concern due to the severe and sometimes fatal reactions their stings can cause in humans. Despite their notoriety, Malo species play a crucial ecological role as predators of small fish and other marine invertebrates.
