Description

Stellatrivia, a lesser-known genus within the Xenophoridae family, includes species that are smaller and less frequently encountered than other carrier shells. These snails also adhere small objects to their shells, but they tend to select very fine materials, resulting in a more delicate and less cluttered appearance. Stellatrivia species are found in a variety of marine habitats, often in deeper waters compared to their relatives.
