Description
Stellaster roseus, also known as the Pink Sea Star, is a species of marine starfish found in the waters around Japan and the Korean Peninsula. It is found at depths between 10 and 500 meters, preferring sandy or muddy substrates. This species is notable for its pinkish color, which can range from light pink to deep rose. It has a small, flat body and five short, robust arms, which are covered in large, calcified plates.
