Small Violet Snail [Janthina globosa]

Description
The Small Violet Snail, Janthina globosa, is a species of sea snail that also floats at the sea surface on a raft of bubbles. The shell is a vibrant violet color and can grow up to 15mm in length. It inhabits warmer oceans across the world and feeds primarily on free-floating hydrozoans.
