Chiroteuthid Squid [Asperoteuthis acanthoderma]

Description
Asperoteuthis acanthoderma, commonly known as the Chiroteuthid Squid, inhabits the tropical and subtropical waters of the Atlantic Ocean. This species is characterized by its elongated body and distinctive fins, which account for about half the total body length. Its tentacles are equipped with numerous suckers and hooks, used for capturing prey. Little is known about its behavior due to its deep-sea habitat.
