Red Chiton [Chiton magnificus]

Description
Chiton magnificus, also known as the Red Chiton, is a large species of chiton in the family Chitonidae. This species is found in the rocky intertidal and subtidal zones of the Eastern Pacific, from Alaska to California. They are known for their vibrant red color and large size, reaching up to 13 cm in length. They feed primarily on algae.
