Peruvian Chiton [Tonicia peruviana]

Description
The Peruvian Chiton is a marine mollusk species found along the coast of Peru and northern Chile. Its shell is oval and moderately convex, typically around 8 cm long, and has a brown to grey color. The Peruvian Chiton lives on rocky substrates in the intertidal and shallow subtidal zones, where it feeds on algae.
