Description
The South African Tusk Shell is a marine species found along the South African coast. Like other species in its genus, it has a long, slender, and tubular shell that is open at both ends. The shell is usually white or cream-colored with a pointed or 'tusk-like' apex. This species inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms.
