Description
The Striodentalium obliquum, commonly known as the Oblique Tusk Shell, is a marine species found in the Pacific Ocean, particularly along the coasts of California. The shell is long, slender, and slightly curved, growing up to 25 mm in length. The shell is white, often with a pink or purple hue. Like its relatives, it is a detritivore, living in sandy substrates and consuming organic materials found within the sand.
