Description
The Greater Tooth Shell, scientifically known as Fissidentalium megathyris, is a scaphopod species that mainly inhabits the deep sea, specifically in the Atlantic Ocean. The shell can reach up to 15 cm in length and is usually white or cream in color. This species burrows in soft seafloor sediments.
