Description

The Humboldt Squid, also known as the jumbo squid, is a large, predatory squid living in the waters of the Humboldt Current in the eastern Pacific Ocean. They have a mantle that is up to 1.5 meters long. Noted for their speed and agility in the water, they are known to exhibit bioluminescence. They have a reputation for being aggressive towards humans, although this behavior may possibly only manifest during feeding times.
