Description
The Okhotsk Armhook Squid is a large squid species native to the Sea of Okhotsk. It can reach a mantle length of up to 50 cm, and it is characterized by its arm hooks and two rows of suckers on its tentacles. It inhabits depths of up to 1500 meters during the day and ascends to shallower depths at night to feed. Its overall coloration is a mix of deep red and brown, aiding in camouflage in deep-sea environments.
