Description
The Toothed Picture Shell, or Pictodentalium carduus, is a marine bivalve species in the family Dentaliidae. The shell of this species is long, conical, and tapers to a point. It is characterized by 20-30 transverse grooves or 'teeth' on the exterior of the shell. It is primarily found in deep sea environments.
