Description
The Tropical Chiton, or Callochiton castaneus, is a species that inhabits the tropical waters, particularly those of Australia and New Zealand. It possesses a chestnut-colored, glossy shell with eight separate plates. This species is often found on rocky substrates in the intertidal zone and is known to graze on algae.
