Description
The Varicose moon snail, or Sinum maculatum, is a species of sea snail that can be found in the waters of the Indo-Pacific region, particularly the Philippines. The shell of this species is characteristically white with brown spots, giving it its common name. This snail is usually found in sandy or muddy substrates, where it buries itself to ambush its prey.
