Description
The White Moon Snail is a marine gastropod mollusk within the family Naticidae. It is native to the Gulf of Thailand, specifically in the waters around Siam. It prefers sandy or muddy substrates and is often found at depths between 20 to 200 meters. It's a nocturnal predator, feeding mostly on bivalves. The shell is spherical and inflated, with a low spire and deep umbilicus. The shell color is typically white, sometimes with a pale yellow or cream hue.
