Description
The Hardyhead Silverside, or Temera hardwickii, is a marine fish species belonging to the Atherinidae family. This species is primarily found in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly around Australia and the Philippines. It inhabits shallow, coastal waters and estuaries, often forming large schools near the water's surface. The Hardyhead Silverside is distinguished by its elongated, silver body and a black spot at the base of its tail fin. It feeds mainly on plankton and small invertebrates.
