Laptev Walrus [Odobenus rosmarus laptevi]

Description
The Laptev Walrus inhabits the Laptev Sea of the Arctic Ocean. It is the smallest of the walrus species, with males reaching lengths of up to 3.2 meters and weights of up to 1,450 kilograms. The Laptev Walrus is distinguished by its smaller size, darker skin and smaller tusks. It is also known for its solitary nature, unlike the other walrus species which are more social.
