Description
The Pacific Walrus is a subspecies of walrus that lives in the northern seas near Russia and Alaska. It is larger than its Atlantic cousin with males reaching lengths of up to 3.96 meters and weights of up to 2,000 kilograms. The Pacific Walrus is known for its extensive migrations in response to the movement of ice floes and its large, ivory tusks that can grow up to 1 meter in length.
