Ringed Seal [Pusa hispida]

Description
The Ringed Seal is the most abundant and smallest of Arctic seals. They inhabit the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions and are named after the characteristic light-colored rings on their dark grayish-brown fur. They primarily feed on fish and invertebrates and are known for their ability to create breathing holes in the ice. Their small size and solitary habits make them a primary prey for polar bears.
