Bobtail Squids [Rondeletiola]

Description
Rondeletiola is a lesser-known genus within the family Sepiolidae, including species of bobtail squids. These squids are small and feature a compact, rounded body typical of bobtail squids but are distinguished by their relatively small fins. Rondeletiola species are benthic, living mostly on or near the ocean floor, and have been found in various parts of the Atlantic Ocean. Little is known about their behavior or ecology due to their elusive nature and the depths at which they reside.
