Description
Gonatus antarcticus, or the antarctic armhook squid, is a species found in the Southern Ocean. This squid is medium-sized, with a mantle length of up to 25 cm. The species is known for its deep-sea habitat, living at depths of 500 to 1000 meters, and its diet mainly consists of fish and other cephalopods.
