Description
Commonly known as the umbrella squid, this species is found in the Atlantic Ocean. The umbrella squid is known for its unique, mismatched eyes, with one being noticeably larger than the other. It has a dark purple color and can grow up to 50 cm in mantle length. The umbrella squid primarily lives in midwater depths.
