Northern Pygmy Squid [Idiosepius paradoxus]

Description
The Northern Pygmy Squid is a small species, with a length of around 1.6 cm for males and 1.4 cm for females. This species lives in shallow coastal waters and seagrass meadows in the western Pacific Ocean. They are notable for their ability to change color rapidly, a feature used for communication and camouflage. The females lay their eggs individually on the leaves of seagrasses.
