Description
Cockatoo Squid is a deep-sea glass squid species with a transparent body and large eyes. It is known for its unique ability to change its color to deep red when threatened. They are generally found at depths from 200 meters to 1000 meters. Its characteristic feature is the set of tentacles that resemble a cockatoo's crest, hence the name.
