Description
Lesser Flying Squid is a species that inhabits the northeastern Atlantic Ocean, with a distribution extending from the Mediterranean Sea to the Norwegian Sea. It has a shorter mantle length of up to 25 cm. This species is a pelagic squid that lives in the open ocean and is known to undertake diel vertical migrations, residing in deep waters during the day and rising to shallower waters at night to feed.
